How Reading Random Self-Help Books Works?
Go with your Intuition, Pick your moment freak book !
Life sometimes seems like a series of random events. The plans we once made—imagining who we would become and what we would achieve—often unfold differently, shaped by destiny’s own design. I’m not sure what to call it—whether it’s destiny shaping our path or the quiet whispers of intuitional guidance leading the way. Perhaps, it’s both, intertwined in ways we may never fully understand, yet always present, nudging us forward.
And i think books work the same way—you never really know what surprises await when you pick up a random self-help book, drawn not by the flashy cover or title, but by something deeper, something unspoken that pulls you toward it. Sometimes, that one unexpected choice ends up giving you exactly what you needed in that moment.
I started my reading journey back in my graduation days. While preparing for my backlog subjects, I had a lot of spare time almost six months to clear just one or two papers. That quiet period turned into something meaningful… it helped me truly discover the world of books. I never thought a moment of boredom would lead to a habit that stayed with me . Looking back, those little twists weren’t so little after all.
I remember my first pick was ” The monk who sold his ferrari ” besides the book being fictional .I couldn’t understand how time flew by, i was completely enthralled. This book is written by one of the top leardership expert and author , sharing a fable on julian mantle who is a lawyer turned monk . I didn’t realize at first that the simple story was actually a deep allegory about self- discovery.
